A library wall unit housing stereo equipment and unusual “disappearing” pocket doors. The fluted columns pivot open to allow the large, heavy (30 lb) pocket doors (mounted on special German-made scissor hardware) to slide into the cabinet. When the fluted columns are pivoted back to their original position – the pocket doors “disappear”. Classical, uncluttered aesthetics.
